From there he guides us through his years at Texas A&M University in Kingsville, launching Magnum in 1985, growing it into a global brand, and ending the path with the family’s legacy. Not one to stand alone in the spotlight, Lynn also shares the stage with his sons, Garrett and Derrick, as they contribute their own unique stories and perspectives.
Far more than a mere rags-to-riches tale, Lynn supplies the wisdom that has led to his success in both life and business. Meet the Frazier Family
Lynn Frazier
Frazier Companies Founding Director
Lynn Frazier was born on a small farm in Port Lavaca, Texas. After high school, he chose to leave the family farming business and pave his own path. He was a walk-on for the Texas A&M University-Kingsville football team, and after hard work and determination, he earned a scholarship.
Winning two NAIA National Football Championships and earning his degree, Lynn took a job in the oil and gas industry. After establishing foundational knowledge about the completion side of the oil and gas industry, Lynn decided to try his hand at being an entrepreneur and inventor. He founded Magnum Oil Tools in 1985, a company specialized in developing innovative, new products that would forever change the oil and gas industry.
After thirty-three years of leading innovation, receiving 102 patents, and creating 1,000+ tools, Lynn decided to sell Magnum and begin the next chapter of his life. Lynn has two sons, who were both integral to the company’s overwhelming success and continue to work alongside him to build a family legacy for many generations to come.
Garrett Frazier

After creating and leading the most dynamic and legendary sales and marketing team the oil and gas industry has ever seen at Magnum Oil Tools International, Garrett is now charting a new course in the next chapter of his professional career. As a director at Frazier Companies, part-owner of ANETIK Performance, and founder of Magnifico Media, he is embracing meaningful work with people he loves, while making a positive impact on the world. At the core of his desires, protecting his tribe matters most. Garrett is married to his childhood crush, Trish Frazier, and father to the joys of his life, Dylan and Olivia. On any given day you can find him on a boat, a board, or behind the wheel, pursuing his passions with his family or inner circle of friends. Garrett’s future is certain to be full of intensity, creativity, and love for the outdoors. He is determined to live a life of adventure while inspiring and empowering others to do the same.

Derrick Frazier
Frazier Companies Director
With a passion for human-centered design, Derrick Frazier is the visionary behind several of Frazier Companies’ initiatives. A foundational time for Derrick was spent alongside his father and brother. He served as a former Product Manager in oil and gas for Magnum Oil Tools International and Nine Energy Service for twelve years. He oversaw products from conception to commercialization and worked alongside the Senior Management team leading individuals and the company to success. In 2020, Derrick joined Frazier Companies to build upon his passion both abroad and at home in Corpus Christi. Through his work as Creative Director at Frazier Companies and the Frazier Family Foundation, Derrick’s life-long mission to catalyze change through design is in full force. At the center of his life, Derrick is an adoring son and brother. Most importantly, he is a steadfast husband to his wife Ryan and a loving father to his three children: Elliott, Wyatt, and Sullivan, for whom he wants to create a lasting legacy of intentionality, creativity, and a loving family.
